About Tea
Tea is an evergreen bush of the genus Camellia, from south-eastern Asia from whose leaves, subject to adequate preparation, an infusion of the same name is prepared.
Chinese tea bushes (Camellia sinensis), Assam tea tree (Camellia assamica) and their hybrids – Georgian and Sinhalese tea are the most popular.
Tea is grown not only in Asia but also in many other tropical countries. The main manufacturers of tea are: China, India, Sri Lanka, Kenya and Indonesia.
